1. Thanks Paula. Started life as a very tightly drawn piece and then I realised something was wrong. So, as you rightly observe, I attacked the subject in a free and loose way. Today back to the more carefully chosen mark. Enough is as good as a feast, so they say, and I’ve done with this piece. When the water is crashing down from the falls upriver this is a wild river. It’s not like the Shannon, not on that scale, but in its own right… you wouldn’t want to slip on the wet flagstone bedrock because you’d be quickly swept away by the current! 🙂
