I had to make a choice, Do I keep the background clutter, confusion, and distractional stuff, or remove it?
I wanted to show a proud and rugged beech; a stoical beech standing alone and facing the elemental slings and arrows without cowering…
So, removed all the rubbish; keeping only the distant distant hills / mountains.
Give the beech all your attention Peter…
Well then much work to do, but leaving the paint to dry for a while.
