View across the canal at Ballinamore today

bmore canal signed dated

The line of dark blobs is where a steel footbridge goes from one side of the canal to the other…. bottom right corner is an indication of the weir that runs across the canal… the water is red, full of iron, and it crashes over the weir which is a metre or so high…. very noisy place esp since we have had a great deal of rain last few days… there were a couple of boats moored at the small marina on the other side of the footbridge… simplified as much as possible.
