I’m thinking this is really so ambiguous an image as to be a work in progress / incomplete… But then leaving the paint (and paper) to dry and looking at it through half-closed eyes, and seeing a face emerge, I’m wondering whether it might not be better to just leave it as it is, and begin afresh, same subject though…
