A midsummer nightmare, Ireland NW

a midsummer nightmare

This image is loosely based on an actual view from my back window. I don’t know how much longer I can endure the dreadful weather we get here! So this is also an expression of my feelings. The phrase, ’tilting at windmills’, suggests itself to me as appropriate. Painted quickly with passion and fury. Oil on canvas. 28 x 18″, July 8 2020

    1. Suffice to say I’m not living in some Stratford-upon-Avon-ish idyll either environmentally or psychologically. Those days, like many others, have gone, vanished. If only the sun would shine! Lol. Thanks for the comment.
