Self-portrait after a laptop camera ‘selfie’, session one. Never painted a self-portrait from a photo before so this is new to me. Whenever I have done a self-portrait in the past it has been from life, i.e., from my reflection in a mirror. Strange to be painting ones visage ‘righted’ rather than a mirror image of it. Lol. This will probably be an experimental piece, a work in progress. Although in a way I kind-of like it as it is… again, lol.
