    1. You are so big-hearted Ryan… love you for that… I’m using a very dry brush technique to apply the paint… trying to work in a different way (different for me, that is,) different from the way I used to work. So it’s very interesting, and experimental too. We artists love to experiment and try out new ways, new materials, and so… I always thought these big trees are like natural open cathedrals, towers, flying buttresses, vaulting and columns supporting the whole. I love beech trees, but I love them all, they all have different qualities. Pity the ash dieback disease is killing off all the ash trees… because mature ash trees are a sight to behold…
