No, no, no! Lol! It’s an oil painting! – except for some tiny facial details where I finished things off using Derwent Lightfast oil-based coloured pencils. Using oil paint and a brush requires a helluva lot of concentration / the skill of a surgeon. I am not a religious person but I know artists and doctors share the same patron saint: S Luke. Maybe because both professions require good eyes and steady hands? (Although my old hands are now very shaky after years of usage!)
