New painting begun…

I have begun a new oil painting on a 24 x 36″ canvas. The original image is strongly suggestive of Van Gogh, Japonaiserie, and also of the work of the Irish painter Francis Bacon. We shall see how it develops. fineart modernpainting modernart avantgardeart
