…the drawing / underpainting in ultramarine blue for a new painting of Angus Young duckwalking atcha.
Angus is one of the (almost legendary) gladiators in the Australian rock ‘n’ roll band AC/DC.
Somehow I want to get a lot of colour and strong light / shade contrasts into this piece.
Currently mixing up some monastral (phthalocyanine) blue (see the jar on the tabletop adjacent to the canvas) to contrast with the ultramarine.
I’m using a large canvas 36 x 40″ (can’t do much larger since I don’t have the space!)
