Grisaille

Pencil and a touch of charcoal (fixed with diluted Liquitex matt medium – to prevent the pencil marks from bleeding through later oil paint) on 11×12″ acrylic primed linen canvas.

A good tight drawing transferred to canvas. So now things diverge, another ball game entirely, and get both interesting and difficult, and it’s all about choices! Making the right ones hopefully!
