Your watercolours have an impressive heft to them without being stark

I don’t think I’ve made it up! But yes, I meant they have some weight behind them.
I had to look it up in the dictionary!!!! The latest ones are a bit emotional. (I’m waiting for the weather to improve so I can continue the walk through some woods I began the other day.) Being stuck indoors because of inclement weather is not my idea of fun. Yes, I want to see Orchard island. And maybe if the ground permits continue on round the lake to the castle. There’s lots of woodlands in that area. Some very tall trees too, from what I remember. The late F. Sean Tynan pointed out some very interesting specimens. That was 20 years ago. Hope they’re still there.
