Today, Feb 17 2020… and my first pencil and watercolour sketch in new small watercolour paper sketch pad, 5 1/2 x 3 1/2″. Pencil drawing done in approx 1 minute, watercolour applied in approx 3 minutes… the photo is somewhat blurred but then my old hands shake and tremble more or less continuously… laughs! I have acquired four of these small pads, two in the above-mentioned size and two more, larger ones, 8 x 5″. Maybe I can do some actual en plein air sketching? You certainly can’t take a camera out here in this weather, unless it’s an underwater camera and wind resistant!
